Everybody really warmed to this year's BYMS RND campaign. Some wacky and inventive costumes could be seen on both kids and adults, and we raised £200 for the Red Nose Day campaign as well! In these tough economic times, we appreciate any and all donations to a worthy charitable cause - so thank you all kids and parents.

Here's a few great photos from our fundraisers (click to view them at original size)...

Here are some things you might not know about the Yamaha Music School:

The Yamaha Music School concept originated in Japan in 1954 as an experimental music class - and it wasn't until 1965 when the schools were expanded to include overseas locations. Today the YMS phenomenon is worldwide, supported by teachers and musicians alike, the Yamaha system has something to offer for people at every skill level.

Yamaha Music School exams are accredited by Trinity College London, and after completing Grade 5, you can earn yourself precious UCAS points for University. What better way to earn those points than by doing something you really love doing!

The Yamaha Teaching Method

Using the tried and tested Yamaha teaching methods, developed and honed since the 1950s, Yamaha students learn to play in the most enjoyable environment possible.

Every Yamaha teacher undergoes a rigorous training programme with the emphasis on making music "fun" for the student no matter what their age or experience. We specialise in teaching beginners and our portfolio of courses offers something for every member of the family.

Yamaha Music Schools have been developing talent around the world since 1954 and have been established in the UK for more than 25 years. With vast experience, a proven record and exacting standards, Yamaha courses offer the highest quality and the best value in music teaching.
